After my excursion to Mt. Tibidabo, I figured I'd get serious about finding a pair of shoes. My shoes are a little loose and so my socks are constantly moving. About every ten steps I need to pull my socks up. Its quite irritating. I been looking at shoes every now and then but not looking at size or anything.
I decided I just wanted a simple pair of converse that I could wear with a skirt or with pants. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to buy a pair of converse for a descent price in my size. They ran for 50 euros in most of the shoe stores. I found a pair last week for 10 euros but they were a size too big. The shoes I have are 1/2 a size too big and they are such a hassle to walk in. I thought no big deal but it really is.
Even in the children's sizes my size was hard. I could fine a size up or down but not my size exactly.
I shopped for a few hours and finally prayed Lord please just help me find a descent priced pair that'll fit me.
Just then I looked up and saw a store that was called "Bad Luck." Ironically I don't believe in luck so maybe that's for me. I went in and found a pair better than converse. They were like converse but with a pointy toe and they had silver stripes. They had one pair and it was my size. Man I should've asked the Lord for help earlier.
I know some of you would never think the Lord would tell someone to go to a shop called bad luck but He's not superstitious, so whats the big deal?
