Anyway, its cheezy, but after living in my house in Aiea with all the girls and watching so many Friends episodes, I had to go to Mt. Tibidabo. So Monday, I got up early and ventured to the metro and headed up there.
I honestly didnt know where exactly I was going. I just had the map and the general directions to get there. I ended up waiting forever in the cold for a bus up the hill. I think one bus staright up passed mFinally, got the right bus, which only took like 5 min. Who knew? And from there I took an electric car up a very steep angle to the top of the mountain.
At the top was an amusement park and a very large church. The park is only open in August so the rides were all shut down. But the view was amazing. I could see all of Barcelona and further. It was beautiful.
The other interesting point of this mountain is that its name refers to the mountain where the devil tempted Jesus and told him to bow down to him and all he could see below would be given to him. The story of this place implies that it was actually here in Spain where that incident in the Bible took place. Betcha didn't know Jesus was in Spain huh?
