French in Spain

After Veronika left I stayed in the gothic area for a few nights. My roomates were two French students who are going to school here in Spain. They were both waiting for a flat they could move into on the first of the month so in the meantime they were staying at the hostel.

They say most French dont like to speak with you unless you know French, but these two were very kind and were very happy to practice their English with me. They would get their Spanish mixed up sometimes and speak Spanish, but it was ok I understood what they said. I've been able to understand more Spanish than compose sentences, but I suppose thats where it starts.

Anyway, they were going to go back to France for a few days and come back after the weekend and move into their flat, so we went out for a drink and some food. Ansophie met a few of her girlfriends, also from France, and we went to have a glass of vino. Gucci, the other guy in our hostel, met up with us. The place we went to had french music even though the food and everything else was Spanish. It was pretty funny.

After that Ansophie wanted to take me to a magical place and to my suprise it was a bar in the wax musuem. She didn't tell me where we were going but she was very giggly and said this place had fairies and all kinds of magical things. She covered my eyes as we walked in and it was pretty cool when I saw where I was. There were trees all over and they had faces and stuff. It was like an enchanted forest. There was a little water fall and a fairie by it. I wish I took a pic.

We sat and talked about politics and life and the economy and then headed back home. I slept so hard and then after they left in the morning I slept until late that night. I was pretty sick. I had new roomates from Switzerland and they were there just for the night.

The next night I had all men in my room and decided to go back to the beach. This hostel was located in the heart of everything but I could also hear lots of people in the street every night. I even heard two people at different times get their bag stolen outside my window. The beach was much nicer and not as crazy.
