Saturday I wandered all over the place. It was great. I did end up at the Picasso Museum which was very cool. It was quite an extensive collection of his works and I was there over an hour.
I always was confused by his work. I would look at his work and see some shapes and things, then read the name of it and be like, "what, I dont see that!" Looking at his work from his early days to the end didn't really help me understand his shapes too much. It just let me know his "language," I should say. I know that this is a guitar and this is a bowl of fruit. Still can't see it clearly, but I know that this shape means this etc.
That night, I went and checked out the Jazz band and they were really good. It was pretty fun.
Today I need to buy a fleece. My jeans jacket with all my layers just isn't cutting it on some days. Its been crazy cold. Like 5 degrees C. I need a comfortable pair of shoes too. My shoes are great but they are half a size too big and I have blisters. Kinda makes me not want to walk anywhere. :( I'm even dreading going out today to make the change.
Just got to grit it and go. Grrrrr...
Sorry about the pics. I have been able to post some on my facebook but I have loads more. My internet connection works poorly so I can only do basic email and posts. Everything else is lucky if it works.
